how do you bust up a bud?

i was wondering what everyone does when smoking...

as you break up a nugget/break off pieces of a bud, how do you go about doing it?

i tend to almost always start at the base and break off natural chunks of the bud, so as to not man-handle the trichomes too much. i always like to save the tip for last.

then it either goes into a grinder or gets broken up even more by fingers for smoking/vaping.

 

I just break it up into tiny pieces, put it in the blunt, and then proceed to smoke it.

 

I normally throw them in a grinder if i have one but lately its been free hands .. nothing like breaking it up, rolling and enjoying your creation.

 

There's something special to be said about breaking up some nicely dank nugs with your hands. It just feels nice. I prefer to use grinders with the stringy mids, though.

scissors, if you know what your doing, are the only way to get perfect consistency for a joint imo

 

yeah, but how are you breaking off the parts of the bud? do you just go at it randomly or do you have another way?

 

break off what the stem gives you.

just use gentle force and u will break off the individual buds, not really rocket science

 

I hate breaking up bud, I always get someone else to do it, then i'll roll it, but if I do have to break it up I just break it up into tiny peices, I start from the top and then just work to the stem I guess.

i use my hands/fingers. then i rub my hands together to get a little finger hash.

 

I pick out the seeds/stems and put it into one of my shot glasses then go at it with scissors.

i usually break it up with my fingers if its a joint, even though i have a grinder

I also inspect everything under light and magnifying glass before and after trimming.

 

I tend to make my bitches roll my shit, I dont ever break up ma stuff homes.

 

my friends are retards when breaking it up they always throw some seeds and stems into it so i usually do it by just breaking off a lil and grinding between fingers....works nicely....

 

shotglass and scissors are the best. Fingers work nicely otherwise though

 

my friends do the same.. i want to punch them when i'm looking through it and find seeds and stems all in there. haha
