my husband keeps infecting my computer. he goes to nasty porn sites, and then i end up having to spend my valuable time cleaning up all the spyware and adware and viruses that he's picked up. how do i block sites like that?

ps, i'm not anti porn, i taught him where he can get "clean" porn that wont fuck up the computer, he's just too lazy to do it.

i assume you use adaware or something like it to clean? get a pop up blocker.. google toolbar is what i use. next go to internet options in your browser and disable third party cookies. if you have explorer its in privacy- advanced - block third party cookied. that should reduce your cookie problem

do you have a firewall installed? it sounds like it needs an update. better off getting a new one. i dont use a firewall so i cant suggest any good one.

yeah, i do all of that except for the zonealarm firewall. every firewall i've tried running messes up another program that is important to me. i do however run protowall--not exactly an all inclusive firewall, but it blocks out some of the crap. i also run cookiewall.

what i'm looking for is some kind of program that wont allow my mimbo husband to look at sites that seem to be able to dump all kinds of crap onto my machine regardless of which browser is running and what kind of protection i have going. it seems like whenever he touches the computer something gets messed up.

If you don't want a site to be accessed you can type the URL into the "restricted" box. In IE you just right click on the icon go to properties, then go to privacy.

    First-- Update
Second--Use firefox/opera/mozilla/lynx fucking anything but IE
    Third--get a firewall(i use za)
Fourth--Have sex with your husband more, so he will stop jacking off all the time.

what you need, is a firewall. i suggest ZA highly. it blocks traffic in, but more importantly, you can regulate the traffic out.

but, if like you said, you've done all my suggestions already except for za, your problem must be something new to me.

It should be, that if you've run and updated Ad-Aware, and run and update an antivirus, and are using mozilla, then i'm not sure.

maybe your husband doesn't use mozilla when he surfs?
be sure to set those security settings out through the roof.

    .........get ZA....
