How dangerous is the city you live in?

The streets of the world can be dangerous places and harbor some of the craziest shit..drug dealers, exhibitionists, gang members, whacked out people on hard drugs, prostitutes, police, military, helicopters, wild dogs, racoons, traffic, drunks, homeless...

Does your city have this?

 

are you kidding? Spokane,Wa is full of insane drivers who play hit the pedestrian, along with gangs, drugs,hookers, rapists, murders,.....

one eyes-squirrels....i thinkn every city in some way or another has it's own individual problems, no matter where you go you can't really escape it.

Nope, my city is not that dangerous.
I mean there are crminals, drugs and prostitutes everywhere, but its not drastic here.
But when I go to Sarajevo, thats dangerous. If you're Catholic of course.

In the area I live, which is outside of the city, it's not bad. But in the city itself, it's extremely violent. It's one of the more violent cities in the country for its size. I am talking gang violence: shootings, stabbings, etc..

In my hometown, it isn't dangerous at all. The population is less than 1,000.

But in this city, I suppose their are bad spots in town. Usually all the crazies come out during the day, so I feel fairly safe at night. But I have received some unwanted attention, been followed, etc. Usually I don't feel the safest when drunk creepy men with mental issues try to talk to me, but that usually happens before 10pm and I'm on my way home anyway.

 

Oxford is pretty safe, despite the fact that there's two big universities here and therefore, loads of students who tend to act like twats on Friday and Saturday nights. The area we live in is shit and I felt safer when I used to live in Brighton which says something (as Brighton is full of weirdos and has the highest rape rate in Britain). But we're moving soon so yeeeay.

 

Well now that the presidential candidates and their minions are no longer swarming all over the city and state like locusts, I'd say it’s pretty safe

We get a murder like every year, either because of drugs or just some nutcase, because we have one of the worlds finest mental health facilities here.

Starting to get too many asian, black and all those other asshole minorities making gangs and shit.

I just looked at 2005's murder rate per capita and it was 55th in the country when its maybe the 17th biggest by population.

I have heard its got one of the highest levels of rape in the country, unfortunately I blame that on having the largest university in America. College students.

It was one of the countries most violent cities in the 80's and early 90's, but its been cleaned up alot
