how come rainbows don't like drainbows?

i met a drainbow and he was so cool to hang out with at the gathering... we got stoned, he was fun to be with, we didn't have to do all that hard work... it was just hanging out and being happy... just like hippies are supposed... so i think rainbows should love the drainbows and then everyone will be happy

 

i think you're mistaken what a word "drainbow" is because it's not something to be proud of. A drainbow is someone who constantly takes from you. Whatever you give them does not satisfy them. They do not work to help out the community. I don't hate them, so don't get that assumption.

 

you can't give until you are able to recieve so if they recieve, that's good i think

have you ever hung out with drainbows? they are really cool and love to party

while people are working, they do a good job of keeping the happyness flowing and that's important

I have some very good friends who would be considered drainbows. Yea, they are fun to hang with and party with, but in the end, they do nothing BUT that. I love 'em for who they are, but can not expect any thing else from them, so deal with them as they are. However, when it comes time for them to ask for a place to stay for a while, the answer is NO. I will not support them, nor will I pick up after them, nor will I supply them with food, tobacco, drugs, or anything else that they do not earn somehow. It's called Karma. There is only so much free ride, and if I go beyond that I start not liking them any more...

 

Gatherings wouldn't happen if somebody didn't do the work and work doesn't have to be hard. we feel sorry for drainbows because they'll never know the beautiful feeling of being able to give, of being able to help the circle continue. Some blissininnies contribute to the circle; they play music, they offer an ear for a heartsong; so even if they aren't cutting veggies or digging shitters they are giving. A drainbow always takes which steals good energy from someone who is giving; and leaves the good energy someplace where it dies. we think it's better to give our energy to those who will recieve it, add to it & help it grow...

 

ide like to adress the issue of labeling people in the first place...perhaps someone might appear to b doing nothing all day, but i doubt uve seen them the whole day, maybe they dug a shitter that morning, and spent the rest of the day sitting around...i dont think anyone is a complete drainbow and thus not a drainbow at all... is someone a drainbow because they take more than they give, if so doesnt that depend on how much value is givin to wat...

 

labeling can suck, but so does someone who actually does nothing...have a drainbow stay with you a while & you'll know why the label developed

 

ha ha ha whats that story of the rabbit that wanted to bake a cake and no one would help to bake it, but in the end they all wanted to eat it..... I always think of that childrens story when this subject is brought up..... but ya, if ya wanna eat earn your keep..... somehow....

honostly, i wouldnt care, however i live by myself and have much more than i can use myself...i can understand if ure living in a house with lets say, 10 people, and uve got a guy doing nothing but eating and sitting on the couch

 

thats all some ppl do at a gatherin is eat n sit by the side of the trail with a bowl on a string..

jikun ifcourse.. some folks take whole gatherins off to bliss.. they desserve it...
theres nobody in particular i call a drainbow.. but are bridge trolls workin or not?
at gatherins work can be mant rhings music poetry food bridges hugs stayin for cleanup..pickin up butts ez job usualy several gatherins only found 7-10 till the 4th
some ppl can be a drain at times...but yea i guess ppl become full drainbow when theyre on your couch for months
