    Hello everyone! =D

I'm a songwriter and one man band from Chicago.
I'm currently in the process of recording a song that I wrote about Haiti.
...It's going to be a huge masterpiece when it's all done, and I wanted to post it somewhere where I can sell it for charity...

...Are there any sites where I can just sell music and have the money go straight to Haiti? Please let me know if there is... The song I'm currently working on tells a deep deep story and I would really like it if I could get some use out of it as far as charity and all that.

    Thanks! =D

feature it in youtube - like other people if it gets sure hit then you might get discovered by big time producers - now you can help a lot of people from Haiti

Using a horrible tragedy to promote yourself eh? Well, it's not like it hasn't been done before...

Sorry to throw a bummer an' all, but at this point in your career, being an unknown artist, trying to sell your music for charity could appear to some as just a crass attempt at publicity...;)

See if your music can sell on it's own merits first, then when you offer it for charity, the gesture will actually have some meaning. :)

A lot of truth in that... if I had written and produced Do They Know It's Christmas, no-one would have given a shit. People bought it and DJs played it because it was stuffed full of "names"...certainly not because it was any good ! [ personal opinion].

Probably at this stage, if you really want to help Haiti, is just to give the charities the money you have now. Hard cash now always beats a speculative promise, in my experience.

But still do the Youtube, etc, route anyway.
