hey guys and girls,me again :). I've recently bleacched the odd dread and a few tips, and its dried them out a bit, just wondered what you more experienced people would recommend to condition them? and where I would get it from?

Find some 100% (or closest you can find) aloe gel and water it down a bit and squeeze it into your dreads. Or find an aloe plant and extract the gel yourself and mix that with some water. It conditions well and washes out easily.

I sort of wonder about aloe, since it stays so sticky, do you think it would mold in there?

If they're really pretty locked up, maybe mixing a bit of leave in conditioner into a spray bottle with water and squirting that on there might work.

you can put just the tiniest bit of coconut oil on them after you took a shower.
it feeds your hair and stuff and smells great!

to condition e,m do an acv rince put a lil apple cidar vinagar in water rince your hair with it wait a lil bit 5 min or so then rince out
you can also use aloe gel from the plant or buy a bittle of 100% pure aloe gel

if its really really dry and your dreads are tight enough that they wont fall apsrt you can use cocoa butter or ive mixed jojoba oil tea tree oil and any other oil u like the scent of (u can cut it with olive oil to make it last longer ..then dilute that mix in water and rince it thru..but thats only for extreme dryness as the oils can loosen up new dreads

    You could try this:

I just dyed my dreadlocks this week with dark brown shade of henna, and it made my hair sooo very soft. It's been getting really dried out since I only wash my hair with baking soda and lemon juice. Definitely both dyed my hair and conditioned wonderfully.

The link I gave you is for a neutral henna, so I think it doesn't actually dye your hair, it's just meant for conditioning, which is what you want since you have bleached dreads??

So you just wash it out after leaving it on for an hour or so. No stickiness like with aloe, your hair won't smell like vinegar, and no residue from using oily products.
