How balanced do you think the media cover the Israel/Palestinian "war"?

No gardener,they have not thrown out every journalist,but Israel should.Every other democratic nation would have by now.I stand by my original post.---The media especially US mainstream media have become no better than "Propaganda Ministries" not only in this area but many others.They parade these so-called representatives of the Palestinians in front of the cameras and just allow them to lie,and not even call them on it.Facts are twisted around half truths thrown in with outright lies all in favor of Hamas and the Palestinians it seems.The viewers are among those that really lose out--.

 

To add,I'm in Hawaii,but I spoke to a freind in New York.He witnessed a pro-palestinian demonstration in NYC there were ONLY 20 people or so. CNN and others made it look through clever camera work like there were hundreds if not a thousand.They can make a lit match look like a raging inferno also.Thats just one example of US medias pathetic coverage.

Israeli deaths: 4, one soldier, 3 civilians. Wounded: Around 40 soldiers, and around 120 civilians.

Palestinian: 537 deaths, 100 "official civilians", the rest Hamas fighters. Around 2,500 wounded.

You also have to realize that the Hamas fighters are usually counted as civilians, since they are...indeed... guerrilla fighters who are civilians.

 

BBC said yesterday the IDF itself was reporting 20% civilian deaths. Even if those numbers are not an underestimation, it's nothing to sneeze at.

 

how do u knw the rest r hamas fighters? an israeli newspaper? fox news? n even if ur stats r correct, how is this a fair war? hamas missiles r home made and have the strength of a fire work,... israel is one of the strongest armies in the world equipped with the latest most mass destructive technology paid for by US tax payers ... and is the life of one israeli worth the life of 33 palestinians? do u knw how many palestinian children were wounded? how many houses were detroyed? mosques? schools? families? palestinians have the right to fight, there land was stolen from them in a violent ruthless brutal way... b4 1948 muslims, christians and arab jews (the real israelites) were living together in peace b4 european and american jews decided its their land... judaism is a religon btw not a race...

 

I know, the state of Israel basically destroyed a very vital kibbutzim Yiddish tradition.

From what I know, many of these kibbutzim were multi-ethnic and individuals of several religions were a part.

Didn't they burn Yiddish books and all that, in an attempt to make Hebrew (a language that was long dead as vernacular and purely liturgical) the national language?

I do not know it. I only speculate because the positions bombed were Hamas positions, if they weren't Hamas fighters, then they were somehow affiliated with the Hamas, or used by the Hamas as human shields.

War is never fair. There has never been a fair war. Would an equal casualty number make it "fair"? That's disturbing.

Hamas missiles have enough power to destroy a house, and those are only the Quassam. There are many other missiles smuggled in from Egypt which are even more destructive.

The life of one Israeli is worth the lives of a million Hamas fighters, just like the life of one Palestinian civilian is worth the life of a million Hamas fighters.

Before 1948 everyone was opressed under British and Turkish mandates, and it goes much farther than that. The region has rarely known peace.

Saying that Jews aren't a race is extremely ignorant.
