U.S. Representative Paul Broun was on the House Science Committee. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Broun "A leaked video of a speech given at Liberty Baptist Church Sportsman's Banquet on September 27, 2012, shows Broun telling supporters that, “All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the Big Bang Theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of Hell.” In addition, Broun also believes that the world is less than 9,000 years old and was created in six literal days." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBy3MbP4WDo
you see there's a fine line between robert hienline and the case of the two headed flea. real science fiction is based on real science, anti-science is based on "religio-themic fantasy" so i wouldn't dignify anti-science by associating it with real science fiction, the kind that is read and written by people who care about how the real universe works, as opposed to whatever holywood cranks out because the know they can sucker people out of big money to go see their freekshow.
