To THE MAN HIMSELF! You cover light well in your book, but I am very curious about keeping my moms under 24 hour light. Is this a bad thing? Should I be giving them a rest, and what is acceptable? You say that it is like one long day to them but I worry about my babies..
I actually recommend 18-20 hrs. I said with clones and seedlings you can start on 24 and that it will work but this is wasteful for the entire veg room. Many stagger the lighting of different lights to keep the light on all hours or most. It matters little as long as you are over 18. Just go 18 if you like because plants like a rest period. BOG
Hay there soothing I believe BOG answered your question already, but look at it this way there is 24 hours of light on the Nort and the South poles and there doesn't grow much right ... :sunny:
