'Hot Shots!' or 'Hot Shots! Part Deux'?

Which do you prefer? Or do you like them both the same?

when i was really young, i remember always watching 'part deux' over and over again, and always found it funny. but, even though its been awhile, im gonna say that the original is better...im gonna have to watch both of them again, my memorys a bit fuzzy

 

definitely the second.
Theres some good quotes from that one. like when there on the river and that black dude is receiving the message and there like "the vultures are circling the carcass...i repeat...the vultures are circling the carcass" and hes like "man i dont see no vultures are you yankin my crank?" lol.

And the one where there like "Yankee Doodle floppy disc, this is Foxtrot Zulu Milkshake checking in at 700 feet, over." Man That movie is so great. Makes me laugh every time. Thanks for sharing.

Hahahaha! You guys are great!! Hot Shots was my favourite movie when I was a kid! Both of them are incredibly hilarious!

 

some spoofs go a little too far to the outrageous and really not at all funny.

hot shots was one of these movies.

if you want to go for brilliant spoofs, check out airplane, top secret, or the naked gun, both of them the original movies, definitely NOT the sequels

 

number 2 rocked !!! number 1 had that mean blond haired guy who i didn't like, but number 2 had everything a comedy movie should have

 

the first Hot Shots is better then deux. But it's not by far as good as Top Secret, that movie is incredibly hilarious! .... and Airplane sucks, I didn't laugh a single time.

Top Secret i thought was worse than all of the Naken Guns, Airplanes, most of the National Lampoons and both Hot Shots... but i only saw it once, so maybe i need to give it another whirl. Airplane is pretty classic, but i like National Lampoons Loaded Weapon the best. THAT shit is the fire. i could quote that movie to the wee hours of the morning any day of the week. Tim Curry is fvcking hysterical in that film...
