toast is good, but i prefer a toasted onion or garlic bagel with butter, or a toasted english muffin with marmalade.... but regular toast is good, as long as its not white bread. with peanut butter is best...maybe with a littttle honey drizzled on it
i actually caught that as i was about to click the submit reply button, but then i decided to be lazy and hope no one else noticed
I can cook my ass off and I challenge anyone to make better food than I. My forte is mexican food. colombian food is awesome too. ah shit that reminds me I was supposed to pm someone my Fire roasted tomato salsa recipe.
its cool, i knew what you meant, but i'm a nitpicking asshole but despite being a nitpicking asshole, i wont bring up the fact that the country called "Colombia" does not have a "u" in it's name....
well done indian food beats all. i love trying to cook it, but i'm not that good at making indian food. some things i can make come out very well. indian food is my absolute favorite, if its good
by far the smartest thing said in this thread (which i really don't have any authority to declare, since i didn't read the first 7 pages)
I dont even really know what indian food consists of but I just eat it all honestly. I went to this great indian place downtown toronto (queen st, with the neon elephant sign in the window: for my fellow ontarions) and their food was ssexyyyy. I love spice.
A homemade crust with a sensuous mix of sweet peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms.... with the freshest mozzarella possible, goat cheese and just the right amount of feta...but it doesn't stop there....basil, oregano and rosemary is blended to perfection..welcome to the CFF pizza, heaven on earth.....thyme optional.
come to Boston and i'll take ya out Cate this is the restaurant we went to - http://www.addisredsea.com/
CATE! one of the best indian meals i've ever had i ate in toronto! i dont know how it compares to other indian restaraunts in the city, but i highly recommend you try Bombay Palace, which is on Jarvis. if i'm not mistaken, its just down the road from the Grand Hotel, but i can't remember what street that is on so it may possible be down the road and around a corner or something. anyway it was great! i got the madras chicken, as well as appetizers and such. my whole family was there...it was very, very nice. i know you dont eat meat but are tempted to succumb to the delight that is chicken... well, they have a great selection of vegetarian foods if i remember properly, but everything i tasted was amazing! (i had a bite or two of all my family members' meals, too)
toronto is one of my favorite vacation spots, to be honest. so long as weather is nice! though i think stratford beats it in terms of accessibility, and i fucking love the festival. toronto is nice for a big-city vacation, which i rarely enjoy. canada has a lot of good, friendly people! i met some wierdos at hotbox cafe, though.
Aww! You guys just instilled from pride in my home city yay! Nesta, I will definitely try to check out bombay palace. and yea isnt hotbox cafe funny inside? a few years back after they changed the bylaw, I lit up in there, and they said we could only smoke pot on the back porch  Ive just been here forever, and im lusting after vancouver. fitz: yea i would love to go to boston and eat there. we could hook up with molly too
