Damn I can't catch it 'cause we're having a family cookout at my house but I checked tvguide and it's on again at 11ET again so I'll be sure to catch it then. I'll post back with my thoughts, hope to find out something new!
oh sheeit i was just watching that glad the kiddies are asleep ahha i friggen love those old movies... NOW YOU CAN START LIVING YOUR LIFE, SUSAN!!' 'here! i'll give you ANOTHER pufff!!! =O.."
i love history. but i also can sit and watch the travel channel and be entralled. .. my dad made me watch the history of cocaine with him. they had ones on other drugs all day that day but i had to go to work.
I usually have the tv on history channel... if not, Discovery, CMT, TLC, NGC, Travel.. That's about it. Those kinds of channels.
Just like what I watch. History, Discover, TLC, then you gotta add court tv, amc, and ESPN. Oh and of course the tv guide channel. I've sat watching that for well over an hour before. The stuff on the top is great lol.
One time there was an info commercial on the Magic Bullet. It's that blender thing that can make every single meal and/or appetizer/snack. This australian couple starts randomly impressing their guests by whipping up a ton of food saying how it only took them "1, 2, 3, 4 seconds!" Amazing. I almost bought one.
oh fuck yeah that ones awesome hahaa there was this other one that came on one morning where you just snap these things in and suddenly your clothes, pillows etc. had PIZAAZZZZ =o
I'm watching something on Thomas Edison's phonograph... just ended though my TV is usually on FX for That 70s Show, Court TV for various crime shows, and the History Channel
Hooked was a pretty awesome series. Discovery/History channels are pretty cool, although they're not overwhlmingly scientific. They sacrifice science and history (especially DC) for cool graphics, and what would happen if situations. I mean, what would happen if a comet crashed spectaculars are one thing, but 3 shows in a row about cool dino graphics or global glaciation are pseudo-scientific ratings gimmicks with very little science attached. I like the DC but a lot of it lacks credibility. Mythbusters is pretty rockin'l though. Not quite as good as Penn and Teller but still pretty fun.
TV works better. Yeah. I loved the one where they fast forward history/evolution and we wind up with tree dwelling octopuses (octopi?) inheriting the earth 3 million years from now (not making this up).
Are you sure it wasn't spiders? I remember seeing one where super smart giant spiders ruled the world and were the 'smartest thing since man'. A: Spiders are bugs. Bugs are dumb. B: If we are smarter then bugs, where'd we go? If those are the options, I'd vote for dolphins. Way smarter then bugs, and honestly, way cuter too.
