homecoming is coming up soon and i am in need of a dress. i would really like to make my own but im not that good at sewing. i have no idea what i am looking for. i dont even know where to look. if anyone could give me ideas or maybe post some pictures of dress ideas, i would be so grateful.
Go to WalMart, or better yet a sewing store, and look at formal dress patterns. There are usually really easy beginner patterns you could probably do, with a little help from Moms or somebody.
check out ebay if you decide on purchasing something. i bet you can find something truely interesting and unique. try maybe a title along the lines of "vintage dress" or somthing.
i'm going to do a hues of pink patchwork homecoming dress, if i can get going on it..... you could try something along those lines....
