I am looking for someone, in the King County Washington area, that wants to develop a partnership to make plus size clothes, such as 1950s style pin up girl clothing, festival clothes, and other unique pieces in standard sizes.

I am currently a student of a computer science program, but art and sewing has been my passion for years. I am preparing my sewing room for production, and have a lot of space in my house to work.

I have already talked to a consignment shop where I am aquainted with the owner who may consign some of the pieces. I also intend to sell on Etsy, and create a website.

When I was in my twenties I worked for a woman who had a group of beginner to advanced seamstresses who made clothes together called the HGSN(Home Girls Sewing Network), and we opened our own artist collective called Nine Moons.

Please let me know if you are interested in partnering for any similar ventures.

it's fun to work with your homegirls, but just be careful. you might not be homegirls for long after starting a business together.
