so yesterday gas was 2.69 a gallon here,,today its 3.19,, im glad 95% of our driving is paid for by my boss.. Has anyone else seen a overnite price hike like this???
It'll probably get high over the next day or two. Maybe stay bad for a while depending on how bad the rigs got hit. http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8CB08301.htm?campaign_id=apn_home_down&chan=db http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2005/08/31/financial/f091242D94.DTL
Yesterday it was 2.59, now it's 2.99. I thought that Shell was price gouging again, but it's like that everywhere.
Same here mostly. But I choose to take the bus, always have. It's about a 15 min bus ride; without stops, probably 10 minutes. I always hear the excuse of "well the closest store is 5 miles away". Only thing I have to say to that is - sucks to be you. That's the price you pay for the solitary environment you live in. Owning a car is so glorified throughout our childhood that those used to having one would literally slip into depression without one. Really, get over yourselves. Sure have. All too much.
the last gas hike that I remember is right directly after the attack on the WTC. I do recall it going up to 4-5 dollars a gallon..... I knew that the gas prices were going to take a huge jump like this due to the hurricane..... hopefully it will go back down to somewhere reasonable...... I dont like the idea of 3 dollars a gallon.
Yesterday when I filled up it was 99.9 per litre......today it was 126.3. I am really glad I filled my car yesterday...... May need to saddle up the horses soon and get some goats to do the grass around here.
i dunno, im not gonna bother doing the math the news said it was bout 10 cents higher than it was in the states dont know if they meant 10cents us or canadian though
That's nuthin They say when the full effect of the refinery downage is known $4 a gallon will be cheap.
