I think we misunderstand how god wants us to worship him. I can't understand why someone as great and amazing as god, would want to be praised and bowed down before. I think that perhaps a better way to worship would be to enjoy the earth and love it, protect the animals and love them, and love one another...I think that since god everything the only true way to embrace him, and give thanks would be to take care of the planet and those who enhabit it.

    what do you guys think?

In essence, I tend to agree with the sentiment you're expressing here.

A certain amount of what you say does seem to be embodied in some of the teachings of Christ - to love one another etc.

The problem I have is this : how do we 'look after the earth'?

We assume that climate change is being driven by human activities, yet there is no absolute proof of this. What we imagine to be a human created problem could be no more than natural fluctuations in the climate.

well, I ca only assume that the polution we make as humans isn't having a posotive effect on the planet, and that is precisely what needs to be fixed.
