hmm my schedule is nice

Just got my senior year schedule.. pretty cool except for one thing. First period first semester I have no class.. second semester I have some crap Career Seminar that I didn't sign up for. I'll drop that right away.

When all that stuff is done, I'll be sleeping in another hour and driving myself to school around 8:30 haha :H It's gonna be a great year, I think.

 

gee...i wish i had a senior year....schedule.

 

Yeah I haven't failed anything yet, so I would have an extra credit. That means only 5 hours of school for me.

 

my senior year was 3 hours on tuesdays and wednesday nights across town in a ymca basement filling out paperwork.......


I didn't even have to have 50% attendance....

 

I have 6 AP classes and one honors class. I woudl have 7 APs but the state requires that I take a health class despite being well-versed in the use of condoms, risk of STDs, and risks of over-eating and poor nutrition. Do the facts that I'm going to sleep around, be vegan, and smoke pot regardless of what an ex-drunk tells me mean anything to the county?

 

the reason you have to take health is probably that it is fedrally funded so no one can test out of it or evade it in any way shape or form, at least that was how it worked for me.....

 

Federal funding is so sad.
I'm pretty sure most of it goes into the cheap ass inspirational posters and giveaway durex condoms.

 

in some school districts government\civics classes are the same way.....

 

I suppose it doesn't really matter. I'm only 3 classes away from an art minor at the university down the street.
I actually think that if all my credits transfer I could qualify as a sophomore my first semester of college.

Health was such a waste of time... They taught me stuff I taught myself like 3 years ago...

 

Here it's required to take civics, economics, health & phys ed or marching band.. stuff like that.

 

I just noticed that I did that, and I couldnt think of what I ment to say but I ment to say 'man' haha

in high school in alberta, "health" class became CALM 20 [Career and Life Management]...you need it to get a diploma

 

my school begins in september... tomorrow i'm going to the seaside.

 

rock on...i dont know when my school starts...but i know orientation is on September 5th and 6th...*high seven*

 

I'm starting to panic... It just can't be... Summer's almost gone.
