    Hi everyone,
just thought i'd pop in and say hello...Hello...

I'm Tristan Aka Nomad Soul, aka Ziggy Stardust, Aka Lizard king Aka Neo-hippie
what can i say about myself?

My greatest pasion in music, let there be no doubt about that:cool:
I play lot's of instruments like, Guitar, Bass, Saxophone, Djembe, Digeridoo, Kazoo:H, bit of keyboard/piano, bit o' drums. but basicly, as long as it makes a sound, i like it and i wanna play it.

I'm very involved with spirituality as well, varied from Witchcraft to sjamanisme and stuff like that. (Baghwan anywan?;))

Freedom means a lot to me, i like travelling or tripping (in every sence of the word or world)
i consider myself lucky to be born here in in holland, it's one of the reasons why i am who i am today.
Sometimes i feel like i'm the only one of My Generation who have really learned anything from the changes and revolutions (hippies) cried out for in the '60's.
It's like the people that where there lost there ideals and the people that folowed don't or won't care.

It's late and i'm bad with words.
i'll check back soon, and give this another shot

hope to meet some nice souls here tuned to the same frequency

    Peace

Hey there Tristan, a.k.a. Nomad Soul, a.k.a. Ziggy Stardust, a.k.a. Lizard King, a.k.a. Neo-hippie. Do you have a personality identity conflict, lol? So many alter egos for one so young. I’m impressed, quite an array of musical instruments you play and the digeridoo too.

Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace & Love, DDR

Lol that's funny, can you believe I haven't heard that one yet!

yeah lot's o' names lot's of lives...welll..not really seperate once but more an ever changing one, I move around a lot, right now going at the pace of a new town or country every year for the past 5 years, but i still think that's a prety good way to live for me, it worked out so far... :)

i think that's a good way to grow and adapt, and shape your view on things, yourself and your seroundings.
i've always had a diffrent view or perspective on things then the Mass
i think a lot of that has to do with lessons of life luarned at a young age, like starting with the death of my father at the age of 7.

    *sparing you my life story*

21 years later...Im this very openminden, no-taboo-knowing, no-direction-home having-one guy with these wierd thoughts on life and not really bieng able to share then due to lake of words.

seems like words are never able to discribe anything of really essential importance...not my words anyway, it's like as soon as ik use a word it no longer fits it meaning or something, there are lots of people who do have that skill...something i'm envieus of.

Words are very powerful, they can injure or they can heal....Penning words to paper can be quite a difficult task, that’s what’s so fun about the English language, so many words and so many options. Stringing and twisting and weaving them together; into a fabric of words, that represent a thought, an emotion, or an opinion....Yes, it is a talent that needs training and honing many times over. It must be polished and revised, in order to create a smooth and a coherent written work.
