Hitler has been seen as an inspiration by the Arnold of California. Because Hitler started out with nothing and then became the most powerful man in Europe. I know what he did was bad but it was inspirational how a man with nothing can suddenly be powerful. If only he used power for the good of his people and of course spreading peace, not war, then perhaps Hitler would be popular. Many people are afraid to debate about Hitler. A bit like Harry potter, one cannot say his name without a few raised brows. What do you think Britain would be like if Hitler won the Second World War? Additionalersonally Hitler is like the proof that even if man has nothing, he can still get something. Infact I have a poster of Adolf in his uniform giving his speech. How anyone elected him goes beyond me. Similarity with Tony Blair. Infact Tony blair may aswell have shouted and screamed to get elected. Would have been voted in.
I think Britain would have been a fascist state for some time, and the Holocaust would have spread here. Most of Europe's Jews would have been wiped out, the traveller community would have been destroyed, and homosexuals and disabled would have suffered from Nazi eugenics. I think this would probably have continued until his death. Afterwards there may have been a great deal of infighting over who would succeed him. The Nazi system was an extremely poor decision making process and highly inefficient. It involved competing empires headed by Hitler's ministers and trusted cronies. Often they would try to out do each other and backstab one another, subsuming more departments and more power under themselves. This could only work with Hitler's indisputable power keeping everything in check and keeping department heads loyal to him, if not to each other. Without Hitler it would have broken down. Following his death the Nazi system of government would have been thrown into disarray. The people may have risen up against the regime and violently overthrown it. Or it may have fragmented, as in Russia, and the Nazis may have lost power. Or, as in Spain, when he died, the successor may have dismantled the fascist state and restored democracy. Following Hitler's death, I think, Britain would have been returned to democracy and fascism would have fallen, or petered out in Britain....
Only inspirational if power is deemed to be something of worth. I'm not comfortable with the powerful and don't desire to join their ranks, probably because they frighten me.
Well if we had gone in on the side of the nazis , they would have had nuclear weapons chemical weapons jet planes radar rockets before anyone else the best navy and airforce on earth . I could see a war with india and china and russia, on one side huge numbers of people, on the other far better technology not sure which side would win. Would depend on how ruthless the nazis were and how many nukes they could make how fast and how long they could keep secret how to make them, it would be tricky fighting a battle like stalingrad if the germans had nukes . The nazis could have extended their extermination of the jews to a extermination of all non white people , not sure how that idea would have gone down with the nazi public but in theory it could have been possible to do. As for england the nazis thought if anything there were as many aryans here as germany , so most of the population of the uk would be ok , I know the Lebensborn organisation for having aryan babys had great plans for the uk , but jews and gypsys would have been killed . This long after the war what the nazis would have done by now hard to tell , Im not sure if the nazis would have fallen apart after hitler I imagine the ss would have kept things together
