When's the last time you've done it?

I got to do it today, after I left my phone at home, and my car broke down between Fort Worth and Denton.

I got to ride in a semi. :D

True that, I've had some shitty stuff happen to me while hitching it alone, but when I'm with someone else I've not had a problem.

Oh yeah, it's a bit more dangerous for girls.

It's a bit dangerous for me even, and I'm a meanie.

But it was like 25 Miles to Fort Worth. Not an unwalkable distance, but close.

I used to live outside of Fort Worth and yea it would be a helluva walk. Haven't hitchhiked in many many years, used to all the time when I was younger, but it was different times then.

A few months back. For the couple months I was in HI, it was pretty much at least a once daily ritual. People kind of just pick you up. Many times I didn't even have to thumb it. Met some cool cats.

Last time I hitched was last fall. Last time I Picked up a Hitcher was 2 months ago.

Times haven't changed. People may hitch less, but its still easy to get a ride if you know how/where. Its not dangerous at all if you follow the rules, and your intuition.

Over here, people stop and offer you lifts if they see you walking. It's cool. I also now do it. I have carried quite a few monks on the back of my shitty motorcycle.

Anyway, I last hitched a lift to a service station after I fucked up my bike about a month ago.

I hitchhike a fair bit. I have not since summer though as I have not left the city since then and I don't hitch in the city- more when I'm leaving town and going on the highway...

so last time would be the beginning of last September. I love hitching, I've met the most amazing people who have taught me the most amazing things.

Been having withdrawls latley...starting to hitch the clouds, and insects, and birds a lot more these days and they just never stop for me.

Not in a year or two.

Picked up some hitchhikers on the way from the liquor store around a week ago. Crazy conspiracy theorist hippies... reminded me of HHB.

It was pretty fun talkin' to them though.
