Hissing Carpet Cleaner

So a few days ago I spilled vegetable oil on the carpet in the kitchen... ):
and I've been spraying it with carpet cleaner. Well my bf put up the black lights a week ago, and I had them on and all the regular lights on when I sprayed the foaming carpet cleaner on the stain. When I turned on the bright, white, regular lights... it sounded like it hissed... wtf? does it react to UV light or something? trippy!

 

That's fucked up.

 

try it again and see if it does the same.. that's pretty cracked.

 

I did and it hissed again! creeeeepy as if I'm not paranoid enough. Anyone has a scientific explanation for this?

 

simple enough, the light did it, what was in the cleaner is the next question.
