All my life i have never fit in with the "norm" crowed. Ive always been outspoken aginst war and the people who try to shoot down our freedoms *cough* bush*cough* . I truely believe my life would be better spent helping the progress of the hippy movement in a coloney of some sort. I know its not the 60's anymore.. but they have to be alive and well somewhere. So tell me. whats the best place to move for free love. understanding. thinking. anti-war. There has to be a place for me.

Well, I can see why you wouldn't fit in living in TO. About the least hip place ever-lol. Even the west county is better. Do you spend any time in Ojai? It's a pretty cool place in the area.

It used to be the "hippie" place be was the Haight-Ashbury area of San Fran, Cali.

Sadly, for the most part, that is not the case anymore.

    San francisco kicks ass.
It's just expensive, unless you're nomadic and smart.

    Good luck.

never been there, but i come across a lot of post that state the place turned into just another commercial tourist area, no hippie mentality overthere, it seems to attract a lot of 'just wanna get fucked up' party people nowadays and there are no beach parties anymore.... you can get a lot of drugs there though, so if you wnna get drugged up...
