Hi, I'm currently trying to compile a kind of pre-BA-thesis essay on Canadian hippies and would be really glad if you could share your oppinions and knowledge about the peculiarities of the Canadian hippies, of what makes them different from example American or British hippies, and what is the situation today. Also feel free to write about anything else that comes in mind in connection with hippies in canada. PS! I really need all the help I can get, the libraries here in Estonia are just no good :H
I find I am less...get up and stop the man...than the americans, because canada is a bit more liberal, and I guess not as much of a shock.
canadians are a lot more layed back, if we are worrying about politics, its that bush is gonna try and get to us as well. Since canada is already a peaceful country, it is natural that the hippies here are even more peaceful. In my travels I came across a lot of Vagabonds such as myself, and realized just how many of us are out there. -Mikki
