hippies homestead commune is looking for new members

hey brothers and sisters my name is mike i am one of the leaders at hippies homestead commune we are curently in the prosses of getting everything together to start the commune the wont be anybody there until this winter and there wont be much built until june 2011. we have 8 members so far most men we are looking for some nice laid back hippie chicks to join are commune and guys. we need people that can put up with the primative conditions at the begining . we eventualy will have solar and wind power rain water collection units and much more. we will rais our own livestock and grow are own food.
Our mission is to have a society of peaceful, intelligent people that live in a community that is self suficent and does not exceed what the ecosystem can sustain. And to not to destroy the environment that we live and to live in peace with nature and the earth. To respect the earth that we live on and not to pollute it. I'd love to join you, but I'd rather stay in Canada, gonna fix up my van and
go travelling for a bit and see if I can find what I need.

I've tried running "An Intentional Acre" kind of community here and if we could get rid of one whiner and replace him with someone solid, we'd be fine.

Two of us know the score, the other was in the WRONG kind of commune for 25 years (I'm almost 47 BTW) and he's the problem, his head is screwed up, he reverts back almost to child like behavior at times.

I've got to get away from it for a while and maybe I'll find a solid acre-buddy
while I'm travelling.

Here its like I'm the Administrator of everything because I own the land and thats causing problems with the whiner too.

So escape/retreat to the Gulf Islands of B.C. is my only option at the moment.

Good luck with finding people and good luck with your system working. I've had to teach some people here how to feed themselves properly, let alone teach them animal or poultry care.

Well I'm not a chick but it still sounds cool. Maybe you could find some chicks at a family gathering.

I bet if ya hosted a gathering you'd get a few chippies (<<< hahaha my new slang for hippie chick) lingerring after it was over lol
