"Psych-Out" was a much better film than "The Trip"... Whoever made that list needs better drugs.

I think that list was just a Jack Nicholson fan who needed an excuse to write an article ;)

    My picks
    The Party
    Silent Running
    Shampoo
Born on the 4th of July
    Breezy
    Head
    Yellow Submarine

also Planet of the Apes. But don't tell Charleton Heston.

This is a good movie. Not sure how "hippie" it was, but it was very environmentally conscious. (if anybody got the point.)

Yup, not hippie in the conventional sense—aside from the prominent Joan Baez soundtrack—but definitely the ultimate tree hugger movie. It pissed off a lot of right wingers which is good enough for me :D
