I don't know about you, but this hippie could count all of the gold jewelry that he owns on one hand !

 

I thought hippie jewelry was glass beads and peace symbols!

 

"Hippie Era" doesn't mean it's anything actual hippies wore at the time.

 

I suppose so, but it certainly implies it. If she had called it 1960s style gold jewelry it wouldn't be so misleading.

 

That makes sense. Sad to hear, but sensible.
