    Greetings all poets and dreamers and word artists! Here is a forum to share some of your work, if you are very, very brave! I know that many of you are extremely talented, and would be honored to see what you can create.

    The HipForums site members will then vote to see who contributed the best poem this month! That's where the bravery is needed :)

    All regular forum guidelines apply, and the work must be your own original poem, in any style, and not something already posted elsewhere.

    Anyway, it's all in fun!

    All poems are accepted here in this thread or in new ones... I will sort it all out in time for the vote.

    Do we want to do this weekly or monthly?

    Best weekly... but not the same day as the photo contest... please. It does take a bit of time to track down all entries and create the poll. But it's all in fun :)

    Monthly would 'potentially' only see 12 poems a year (with one not wishing to split a vote)
    I think once a week is reasonable, for it allows both the reader and writer education experiences and inspiration -IMO :)
