It's feeling like Beverly Hills 90210 around here. Has it always been like this?

No it's never really exactly the same.

 

I get that feeling alot here... and that I languish on the wrong side of the virtual tracks.

There's more to me than physical conditioning. Some of the response alluded to me in the 3rd person and 1 post suggested that I might be taking steroids. There were also some very nice compliments posted and they were very much appreciated.

I haven't gotten much of the sense of "clique" as much in RT... kinda why I hang here more; but in the hippies forums- particularly young hippies (not surprisingly), it's quite apparent. I've seen one frequenter post an attack at another user for posting there and being in his 30's. Seeing as my age has the dreaded '4' prefix there aren't many who post there that would stoop to conversing with me which is fine with me. Class is not age specific in my book and I look to find like minded folks.

The thing that struck me about these forums as a whole is, that for being a hippie site it is pretty damned difficult to engage in many of the members here in conversation. While I very much appreciate my proverbial 15 minutes of fame here I am more than a set of abs!

 

I think it's more like Melrose Place.

 

i've noticed it's gotten a lot more "cliquey" in the few months i've been here.......

... don't see how it makes a difference tho'..... popularity is only important to those that want to be popular....... Shame for those who hoped to find an open community I guess, but there are plenty of messageboards out there if they don't feel they can fit in here.

 

I wish I was known for my abs. The reason I started that thread *ahem is because I liked your monkey avatar..... then I clicked on your gallery and holy shit .... washboard. I'm not trying to gain popularity here BTW.

always seems to be drama going on, but that's just human nature really

 

I went away for a few months then came back and found it refreshing. Sometimes this place gets stuck in a rut.

 

lol.....i watch 90210 for three hours every saturday. I love that show.

 

maybe if i got breast implants and a nose job i could be brought back for another season

 

Are you making a Tori Spelling again. She has her own she now on VH1. So NoTorious or whatever. I watched it once. I've always like her for being more real than the other 90210 chicks.

I made a thread like this the other day warmhanded, there seems to be a lot of clickyness (i know that how you don't spell it) a lot of attacking, and not many people being alternative, but then this is random thoughts.
ive never been in the 'in crowd' I tend to have a handful of friends all very different. but having said all this I have more friends on here than I ever did
