We're thinking about marketing some T-Shirts that promote the HipForums. I'm wondering how many of you would be interested in such an item.

We might do them ourselves to save you money (the online companies that do that charge a LOT so we'd have to charge you more than we'd like).

But I won't take it any further than this unless there is some interest.

We'd add some interesting text to each T-Shirt like "Free Speech", or a Peace Symbol or dove, or whatever.

Of course we'd welcome suggestions from our members, too.

We'd probably start with iron-on transfers (if we can find good enough quality)and if there's a good demand we could get them silk-screened.

    What do you think?

Why no purple? Purple & Green are the Hippy colors! ;)

Actually if we do iron-ons you can probably select from a variety of colors.

Oh, most likely we'll start with large & xtra large for the first few orders, unless we get lots of orders for other sizes.

I was just kidding, making a joke at the complaints so many have about the background of the forum!
I think a white t-shirt, with a dove symbol and hipforums.com logo would be perfect, but thats just me. Maybe, the dove underneath the logo across the chest in big bold letters? Just wondering! :)

there's bound to be loads of youngun's, girls especially, who will be all about getting and wearing the shirt. judging from the beauty quotient of our population, smalls and extra smalls will be a good thing to have on hand.

I suppose we might just take orders and figure out the sizes we need later. Some might have to wait for the second or third go round b4 we get to their size & shirt color...

Well of course that would be possible! :)

As well as Hippy.com, too! I think that will be a VERY popular shirt!

Sadly, I am actually very excited about this :(
Man what has become of me these days?
Any possibility of baby clothing? I know theres lots of people with babes here, I would love to have one for my son as well! Although I know that is far less likely to happen than adult clothing. Just a suggestion! :)

Just to remind any wannabe pirates out there, we hold the copyright to our names & logos... And we do enforce them...

A group from here that visits Amsterdam regularly did produce a T-Shirt with a HipForums logo on it (as well as others). They didn't ask (ppl should), but I liked what they did so they have permission after the fact. Of course they should at least send ME one! ;)

Hey I suppose we could just SELL the iron-ons, eh? So ppl could put it on whatever they want. That might be a possibility.

Of course this is all about raising money for the site, without ripping you guys off, giving you something worthwhile that will promote the site too.

I'm pleased at the positive response to this. We were supposed to do this a long time ago, but my travels made it impossible to run a mail-order business.

If the T-Shirts go well, we could do a lot of other items too.

I definitely like the idea of selling the iron-ons by themselves.
