What was everyone's GPA in high school? If it was under 3.0, how did finding a good college seem? Thanks.
What schools did all you early acceptance people get into? My GPA is pretty good, but the school I want to go to is pretty hard so I'm applying the first day of early acceptance and I'm still freaking out.
Truman State University in Missouri... course I'm transfering my Junior year... to another college I shouldn't have too much problem getting into.
just university of toledo. i probably could have gotten in with a 0.5, i only went for the early acceptance for scholarship purposes
That's awesome O.O I wish our school had honors be 5.0... only AP classes are here. I would have a 4.6 if I could have honors.
On a 4 point scale: A = 4 B = 3 C = 2 D = 1 F = 0 Add all of your grades, then average them out. My university does the +/- system, so: A+ = 4 A = 4 A- = 3.7 B+ = 3.3 B = 3 B- = 2.7 My complaint about that system, as a straight A student, is that you get punished for getting a 92% (A-) but don't get any extra bonus for getting a 99% (A+). It may help the B+ average student, but it screws me. As to the original question, I graduated nearly a decade ago, with a 4.something, then took some time off before college, so I doubt my experience would be much help to you!
At my school we have no C's, and it's 90-100 4.0, 80-89 3.0, 70-79 2.0, and 69 or below is failing so no points. If you take AP or IB classes, you get an extra quality point.
fuck highschool and college when you can go to a technical college with shit grades and get a nice technical job as a programmer/designer and make good money doing whatcha love.
