    What was everyone's GPA in high school? If it was under 3.0, how did finding a good college seem?

    Thanks.

    3.85 as of last semester, I should end this year with a 3.9 something and graduate above 4.0.

    What schools did all you early acceptance people get into?

    My GPA is pretty good, but the school I want to go to is pretty hard so I'm applying the first day of early acceptance and I'm still freaking out.

    On a 4 point scale:
    A = 4 B = 3 C = 2 D = 1 F = 0

    Add all of your grades, then average them out.

    My university does the +/- system, so:
    A+ = 4 A = 4 A- = 3.7
    B+ = 3.3 B = 3 B- = 2.7

    My complaint about that system, as a straight A student, is that you get punished for getting a 92% (A-) but don't get any extra bonus for getting a 99% (A+). It may help the B+ average student, but it screws me.

    As to the original question, I graduated nearly a decade ago, with a 4.something, then took some time off before college, so I doubt my experience would be much help to you!

    At my school we have no C's, and it's 90-100 4.0, 80-89 3.0, 70-79 2.0, and 69 or below is failing so no points. If you take AP or IB classes, you get an extra quality point.
