For some reason i tend to shock people. Literally, i will touch them and Zaap, i will shock them. Happens alot. When i used to wear watches, the batteries would die quick or the watch could not keep time. My mom would say "you have too much electricity in your body" thats why the watches are doing that. I am not sure if its possible. Anyone else know anything about this?
used to abuse libabry carpet in elementary school. we not reading but just walk and rub our shoes on carpet, to create the electric charge then walk around and zap people. that school was bulldozed
What kind of shoes do you wear? Maybe you should try going barefoot? Or just wear a ground wire everywhere you go!
seems like i shock people a lot too. namely my wife and daughter. and myself when i exit the car and touch the door...this happens only in the summer.
if i rub this fleece blanket over my arms and then touch something metal i can get a big visible spark. rubbing together certain materials will build up a charge and then when you touch something of different electrical potential the charges will equalize. low humidity or dry conditions make it more pronounced. ESD can be very damaging to sensitive electronics circuits.
In the wintertime, I tend to shock my dog a lot She gets nervous now when I point my finger at her! She'll try to nuzzle up to my hand and go "oh no, I'm not falling for that again, but I'm not sure where to put my face!" and kind of happily growls at me.
