Not like I'm one of those "apocalypse" freaks, but we're taking the money we made from the yardsale this weekend and hiding it somewhere in the house. My reason to hide cash is because we've lost power so many times in the last 2 years from all the storms, and banks were out-so what happens when you need money but can't go to an ATM or bank?! Where's a place you can hide cash in a house? And don't say the freezer...burglars have caught on to that trick from all the old ladies hiding their jewels in there.
Put it in a envelope and duck tape on the bottom part of the table, so you can only see it if your lying on the ground looking up to the inside of the table. You can do this with many many places in all parts of house.
Under a loose floorboard, of course. I didnt know old ladies hid their jewels in the freezer...im sure that bit of knowledge will come in handy...muhahaha
I was thinking about getting a small manilla envelope and taping it to the inside wall of my closet, above the door...so I can still access it to add money while its on the wall. The toilet trick won't work for me since the inside of my toilet is really jam packed since all the guts have been replaced in there. But that is a really good idea
What about fire? Get one of those fireproof boxes and disguise it as a shitty board game no one would want to play.
Hello, except the thief feels the urge to review his (her?) eigthies porn video collection . Regards Gyro
Air duct. Under floorboards. Plastered hole in wall. People don't look above their heads ever either. You can unscrew the ring cover around the fan and hide a bunch of bills there. Conversely, banknotes will have zero value after Obama's elected again and his race of werewolves reign upon the earth. Buy silver bullets. And if it turns out he's not a werewolf, silver retains a lot of value.
I don't know a good place - but whatever place you do decide on - write it down somewhere that you see often....I've hidden money and can't remember where....
Wouldn't that be kinda creepy? Walk through your kitchen and see "in the toilet" written on the fridge or something-hahahaha
this. mine's not even disguised, it's just hidden away. as for where, you know your house better than we do.
I had a old cedar carved box sitting on a shelf that I put money in. But when we moved it got put in the mini-storage. We still have the mini-storage and the box is in there somewhere full of money. Now I have a safe built in so that's where it goes.
