it wouldn't be very well hidden if i told you about it, now would it? my reserves are in the bank, where they are safer from the prospect of my being hit over the head. i do sometimes pull a twenty out of the atm when i use one to check my balance. but then that is what i spend when i buy a shake and a burger.
Just a few dollars to last a couple of days in case something happens. Not a lot , Just a little safety cushion for a couple of days
Normally I keep a few hundred but can be more depending on different factors.. but my rule is to never keep more then I can afford to lose.
I keep $10.00 dollars in a steel constructed wall safe with digital combination, four live-locking bolts, and a pry-resistant hinge bar. The safe is in the basement behind a portrait of Chuck Norris (which should be enough to deter most thieves) but if that isn't enough, he must first penetrate the two inch steel cellar doors which are anchored directly into the masonry cement blocks. The house is monitored 24/7 by ADT. Once the motion detector goes off in the basement, a hidden door slides open to release a pack of pit bulls that were rescued from the former home of disgraced football quarterback Michael Vick..- good luck
I’ve always kept extra cash at home, I’ve made some great purchases by having a few thousand at my fingertips
