I'm the female half of a full time RVing couple in our 30's. Right now, we're only traveling between locations a few times a year. He's working seasonally; I'm working online. At least things are a lot less expensive now. In the next few years, we'd like to settle down and buy some land but we haven't decided where. We're having some pretty significant debates about climates. We're currently experimenting by staying in Florida longer than planned to see if we can handle a summer this far south and humid (vs a desert summer). I'd like chickens, milk goats or a cow, and a garden. Meat rabbits would be useful too. It has to be the right place though, close enough to civilization for good internet service (I need reliable internet to work) but far enough away for the farm animals and to be able to live in the RV or maybe build something tiny. I like the idea of a few people sharing the land and animals and work commune-style but we're introverted enough that we want our own space too. I've been feeling pretty alone lately. Our current lifestyle is odd. It's right for us. I love that we can work less because we cut our bills way back and can travel by just hooking up the truck and going. I love that we have more free time to spend together and explore the world. Most of our 'friends' from before don't understand though, won't even try to understand the appeal. I have time and really good wifi so a forum seemed like a great place to meet some other people living more unconventionally.
