Brand new here. Anyone from this area around? I've lived all over the state, and some of NH too. Great forum.

 

I've visited the area. I must say that seeing Plymouth rock was one of the most disappointing experiences of my life.

Hi, jealous here. Actually is my dream to live in Boston but Plymouth is a hell of a lot closer to boston than where I am.

 

Where exactly is "the middle"?

 

The middle of the United States.

 

The whole place has been disappointing to me. Oh well. I've split a lot of time between CT, Brockton, and here in recent years. This place is boring.

 

Welcome to the forum! I haven't been to Plymouth, MA, despite the closeness (I'm near Hartford). Passed through Brockton once, en route to Fall River and then Newport, RI. As for CT, they still tax you to death here, with our 6.35% sales tax being the least of our problems.
