Hi everyone, I am Ken, currently living in Lebanon Ohio but getting close to retirement and will be moving to Maine, hence the username.

Thanks again, I have been to downeast Maine so many times I don’t have a problem understanding anyone, I was related to half of Eastport as a kid. My sister in law from Mississippi needed an interpreter though, she did not know what wrinkles were or ever heard of a dooryard.
I am counting down the days until I can get out of here, when I was growing up in the 1970s it was a nice little town but things have gone down the crapper at light speed and only going to get worse.
Ohio? Only been in Columbus (2010). Maine? Lived in York County twice. 1974-77 and 1985-87. Loved it there...but winter sucks. Connecticut native. Live here now. Hate it, but have no money to leave it.

I don’t mind rural people, what ruined my area is the cornfields morphed into McMansion subdivisions and those people are insufferable. I was better off in the old days when no one lived here, census said Warren county is close to 250,000 people.
