No Barry matey, Greece, or indeed anywhere in Europe, don't get 'army' ants like Africa and India get. These buggers, given half a chance would eat you too !!! In the jungles in Kerala you can trace where a colony of army ants have gone, because all the vegetation in a straight line from their colony has been eaten. Colonies actually go to war against each other and the winning colony will carry their wounded comrades back to the colony. The losing colony would be dead and consumed by the winners !!!
