Hi from my family in Tennessee

Hello forum!

I found this forum searching for communes, as this is something my family and I are considering.

We're a small family of 3 (myself, my husband, and my brilliant 2.5 yr old daughter). Something happened to me this past year... I lost faith in humanity due to a bad work environment. It left me feeling quite empty, and wondering what is really going on in my life. I am hoping finding a community of like minded people helps me out on what I consider to be the beginning of my new life.

I'm searching for a family friendly commune, one that isn't going to press religious ideas on me (not that I am against any kind of religion) and genuinely work for a common goal and work towards a good group life.

I'm also looking to meet any like minded people who won't judge based on looks, color, social status, or any of that crap.

hello welcome to the forums....we have lots of communal types here ...you say you also have a brilliant child?..so do I..mine is 3 and a half and is cooking me bacon and eggs right now but she is having a hard time because she injured herself yesterday while using my snow blower to make extra money for college[she starts next sep]..anyway..breakfast is ready.

Hello to you! I've never been in your town or Knoxville. The only Tennessee city I've ever been in would be Nashville and that was last August. Oh well! Anyways, welcome to HIP! I hope you have a good time here!

 

Hello crazycooking.
Crossville and the cumberland plateau and all of east tenn. is very lovely country. Also a lot of good music in those hills and some very fine people. I am new to this forum and having fun being here. Hope you do to.
