Hi, just random question. I’m from United States myself so I use American money and have grown up being used to American cash. But as far as “Pounds” and “Euros” are concerned:

A.) what is the difference between British Pounds and Euros?

B.) Who’s face is on front of the British Pound “bank notes” or Euro Bank Notes?

thank you! Just trying to learn more how UK currency works since I could be possibly visiting there next year!!!!!

The British pound is the official currency of the United Kingdom, also referred to as Pound Sterling or GBPand has the symbol £. This currency is managed by the Central Bank of England (BoE).
Euro is the national currency of the European Union countries ,also referred to as EUR .This currency is used by 19 EU member states and is is managed by the European Central Bank (ECB).The Euro currency was introduced in 1999 as currency in the economic market.

All British pound bank notes currently bear HM The Queen's head on one side and a famous historical person on the other side.Following her recent passing Queen Elizabeth's portrait will eventually be replaced with a likeness of King CharlesIII altho not immediately.
Euro bank notes feature symbols that represent the nature of the European spirit as opposed to individuals faces.
