hate when that happens.. its kinda awkward for me.

like someone you see kinda regularly. like say at school.

you barely ever talk, theyre just someone in your class.

then one day, you see them at a mall.. or somewhere else other than school

then suddenly, its like were friends..

HEY WhatsUPP!?? hows it going?!?!? all excited sounding.. lol.
so fake. lol but i go along with it.

 

Yea but so much depends on whether he/she are the opposite sex.

I used to get that, tho more of the drive by howdy, i never see the point in small talk, like its just shit, u could have the same convo 10 times a day, my thoughts,

 

i find it kinda nice, mutual acknowledgment of each others existence, makes the world a little friendlier

 

happened to me yesterday...

A girl friend i've known for a long time.
"hey how are you?!?!?! I'll call you we should hang out"

"umm ok sounds good"

"ok cool!!!"

that has been our conversation i think the last 3 times in probably 2 months.

 

Darn. I thought you were being friendly to all us RTers here with that thread title.

Maybe if I run into you at a mall you'll be excited to see me.

Perhaps more interesting is when you come across someone who, through no fault of your own, deliberately acts like a real jerk with you, such as a cocky salesperson at a retail store. You think you'll never see them again, but then they show up someplace else, like at your church where you have to face them again.

lol that always happens with me. we'll be like yeah let's hangout sometime. then we never do. then we see each other again and it's hey let's hangout sometime. hahahaha.

 

I think it is the polite way of saying, I really did not wish to keep in touch.

On the way back home today, I had to pop into B&Q and I saw someone I went to university with but, haven't seen for years since she stood me up one night. She was all 'Hiii, sooo good to see you, OMG I've missed you soooo much!!!'

No, it wasn't good. If you missed me you could have called or something.

If I haven't seen you in years - do me a favour and don't say anything to me!
