my name is Keith, i'm 21 and i'm from Malta, Europe, if any of you heard of the place ..... I've been into this Hippie fasination probably since I was 13 or somethin like that. As far as i can recall i was washin my dad's car when my father put of the Doors CD, the one were Jim Morrison says that speech after Road House Blues (live), and from then on lets say its history. The Doors led me to Dylan, then to Zeppelin, Floyd, Beatles, Beach boys, Byrds, Yard Birds, King Crimson, Kinks, Simon and Garfunkel and god knows what else. All I ever listen to is 60's and 70's and thats it...modern music is crap and sensless and you have to really be stoned to hear that stuff. To me Rock and Roll is the means to be free, you don't need drugs to help you...Listen to one of the early Floyd songs (Syd Barrett era) or Hendrix or Stairway to heaven, who the hell needs drugs when ure listen to that stuff...u dig what i'm sayin man! I live up to the Hippie hate the system mentality and I believe that we don't need that bull excecutives running around with their polishes BMW's wiping their ass in their leather heated seats!! I hate aristocratic dicks that think money is making them better then me...don't get me wrong I love money and I probably afford most shit they would...but i don't buy it because I don't like their lifestyle and I would exile them to Congo if need be. At the end of the day I believe I live in the 60's so I buy classic everythin I think, apart from cloths, they can't be too used you know ) I just graduated from Commerce this year and i;m trying to alter my life as much as possible to make me feel like i'm from the groovy years, you know, yeah i love modern technology but screw that, in my opinion retro stuff and modern stuff go well toghther in the same place, imagine a vintage pepsi sign over a 42 inch plasma, thats what i'm talkin about, i think i might be goin slightly out of point and boring myself as well...if anybody is interested in like reading this crap i wrote congrats to you. And by the way if being dirty makes you a hippie count me out, you don't need to be dirty to be a hippie, i don't recall Jimi Hendrix not showering for a week, or leaving a beard hand down to the floor...get my point Bye for now and keep it Groovy
Well you sure are an opinionated little buggar lol....welcome anyways, there's thousands more here for you to opinionate with
