Hi, my name is Jacob, I'm A new found hippie, and i'm interested in finding out more about this world. I want any advice anybody has to offer, and looking for new friends, I'm about to be 18 and i'd like to maybe meet some people, to go off with when that time comes. :afro:

Hi Jacob. I think the hippie movement these days is learning about how to be receptive to new thoughts and challenging your own preconceptions. There really is not a movement anymore, but you can learn a lot from old hippies and just creating your own view of the modern world, from a perspective of full integrity, activism or entheogenic experiences, whatever it is that you choose. There are lots of people living alternative lifestyles and making it acceptable and accessible is what the hippie movement has boiled down to, in my perspective. You won't find a lot of stereotypes here, but you will find people willing to question things.

    :) welcome
