sunday feeling, song for jeffrey, locomotive breath, aqualung, slipstream, moths, acres wild... and thick as a brick is just great ofcourse
ohhhhhhh i'm terribly sorry for making this mistake.will you please forgive me water baby? what kind of hippi are you who wants to sort the things in somekind of rules? are these forums have to be serious.i put the threads where i want.any problem?
Jethro Tull is progressive rock, this thread is for 50's and 60's music. It is not for the progressive and heavy metal music that started in the late 60's, that music is more in the 70's. Shame on you for disrespecting Jethro Tull's progressive repertoire. I'm the type of hippie that went nuts around 1969 and 1970, the 70's type, self-indulgent, decadent, apathetic, stoned all the time. I guess I'm the 70's type of hippie, Neil Young - "After The Goldrush". The "Me Decade". "Look at mother nature on the run in the 1970's"
hey, to someone who calls himself like something water baby, i wasn't talking about jethro tulls being prog or not. do i very badly have to put them in prog list? i don't suppose so. weii in a matter of fact i'm not bothered what kind of music i am listening to, i listen to music because its jethro tull, zepp ,d purple, floyd.................etc it doesn't matter the name of the music, its enough for me to get crazy and go ýn the dream world listening to them. and,you cannot tell me ý'm disrespectful to JT, someone cannot be disrespectful just for wrýtýng the thread ýn the rock n roll sub. ýts not the end of the world, you have some problem on your mind ý guesse or you are bored , well you have exagerated or we will keep thýs debate on. well i wouldnt get bored, but ýt would be frustratýng.
and thanks to you asmodean .that is a very good reply which goes to him, he knows himself.he has to work on listening to jethro tull some more.
If you had never listened to Jethro Tull before, and you wanted to hear their best song ever, then what song should you listen to?
Everything on the Heavy Horses album, especially "Moths" and "Acres Wild"; also, "Skating Away" from the War Child album and "Some Day the Sun Won't Shine for You" from their first album are particular faves.
