hey.. how would u guys define lower, middle and upper class

I dunno.... Just wondering.. Got into a debate about this.. lol.

And also which would u consider yourself?

 

Lower is poor
Middle is comfortable
Upper is rich

 

Most people would be considered working class. Doctors, lawyers, etc. are middle class. People with more than a few million dollars might be considered upper class. Then of course you have the upper, upper class, which would consist of our corporate overlords and those who basically run the show.

 

Lower class - living to get by meaning living from pay check to pay check

Middle class - comptable

Upper class - rich

 

Nobody here can be from a lower class. Being able to use the internet on a regular base lifts you from that.
I guess 99,9% of the people here are middle class, maybe 1 or 2 puissant rich people here who can be considered upper class.

 

Lower income is the term it would probably use as class denotes far more of a degrading aspect to it.

Lower income is difficulty making ends meet with little or no chance for improvement.

Middle income would be enough to be comfortable enough but not necessarily able to save.

Upper middle would be enough to be comfortable and able to splurge periodically and save and invest.

These are variable and people also have control over some of this. There are those who manage money well and those who do not.

There are also sometimes circumstances that are temporary. For example a student my be in the lower bracket but will eventually not be. Financial hardship may also at some point in life cause a change for anyone but it does not change for the better without a desire to change it. Be that an education or training for a job that has more opportunities or learning to handle finances more efficiently.

 

Who here is upper class

 

Not me. Maybe you, but then again you're in Croatia.

 

Even though she is from a 3rd world country doesn't mean that there is no upper class there. Maybe upper class there means owning a color tv.

middle - accommodating

upper- helpful

Well considering life I think homo sapiens is a more accurate description of socioeconomic status or class being at he top of the food chain.
