Hey Brisneyland!!!

does any one else live in brisbane? It seems this site is full of a lot of NSW and VIC people but not enugh QLDers!!! WHERE ARE YA?

Brisneyland! spent nearly a week living in the southbank parklands. That’s some fine shrubbery, much safer than a real rainforest... bathed in the lagoon each morning noon and night and often in between, free tai chi in the morning (afternoon yoga is stupid busy), tae kwon do contests at the piazza, movies outside on the superscreen, reef fish is cheap, pirouette (everyone’s doing it) under arbor’s tangled tendrils and brilliant pink (others say magenta) bougainvillea, nice view of the sad but well-lit cubicles across the river… never far from a banana. good stuff!

 

im from cairns which is not quite brisbane but still in queensland. and much more picturesque. i love it here.

I love brisvegas. Very friendly little city with lots of gorgeous hippie ppl.


Lived there for two months last year and I used to live on the gold coast a few years back too. I love tongue&groove in west end. Don't know if they have it anymore but they used to do a speak easy night once a month. The girls get dressed up in their cha cha dresses and feathers, and the guys adorn their spunky suits and 1920's caps and head to the basement for a boogie. T&G has really great food and coffees too, Mmm, I miss it there. VanA that's so cool u lived in the parkland! Why not!

I was born in Vic but have lived in Qld for 12 years. I go to the Uni of the Sunny Coast although i am moving back to brissie in a month. The Sunshine Coast is the most beautiful place in this goddam state.

I live in caboolture its just up from brisbane but its pretty boring.

Caboolture has a great RSL but the worst train station toliets. I go through there to uni all the time.

 

Yeah i dont mind the RSL but i really like the caboolture sports club or just surfing
at bribie island or the sunny coast
