Hello, yesterday evening I had the great idea of cleaning my flat. While cleaning the bathtub this happenend to me I think: Lumbago is the english term I think. But I can tell you, it hurts like a motherfscking heartless bitch. Stayed the night half on and half off the sofa with clothes and shoes on. Took me ten minutes this morning to get from the sofa to my bed. Today is the first day since two decades that I'm not at work because illness. Totally new experience to me . Regards Gyro
Ouch!! Housework is not all it is made out to be. Hope you are starting to feel a little more limber and on the mend.
Hello, thanks. Well, every move still hurts, but I can stand up and run around again at least . Regards Gyro
I'm well acquainted with low back pain... When the back isn't working, nothing is working. Take care man!
Hello, 'Hexenschuss' is a German colloquialism for lumbago. It roughly translates to 'shot by a witch' and that is what the picture is showing. The pain comes suddenly out of the blue so the ancient people thought some kind of witches must be involved. Regards Gyro
Hello, well spoken. And if every move causes pain you automatically adopt a protective posture, which intensifies the problem and so on. The good thing is that after two days it still hurts, but I can go on with my normal life. Regards Gyro
Hello, neun, zehn, schlafen geh'n . Nice to see that you can master the apostrophe. Quite a few native speakers lost this ability me thinks. Regards Gyro
Hello, the queen smiley? I think I'm a fan of , and sometimes :mickey:. And one or two others, but there's this fours smileys per post limit. Regards Gyro
Hello, it's the one that I always use. I think it provides the most amount of smiley for only two keystrokes . Regards Gyro
Thanks for reminding me of an awesome song. :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-DZ0KtR3RY"]EINS ZWEI POLIZEI - MO-DO (official video) - YouTube
