mm i really have no idea when it comes to non-natural dreads.

but my educated guess would be that they may have the Y shape to begin with but they would eventually, over time, lock up and form one main dread. so if you can deal with the Y shaped for a bit til it forms up a little more, thats the way i would do it.

other than that, i have no idea :p

they originally were supposed to be fatter.. but since i didnt do them myself, i got what i got. she said she'd combine them after 6 months.. but i'm sick of the thin ones (even though its hard to see in pics, some are actually thinner than the rest.. and some are thicker)

I did wonder why they were so thin, do dreads just fatten after a while?

I could probably sum up my knowledge of dreadlocks on a post it note

to an extent they do, but since mine are backcombed, it will take work to get them thicker..

i just dont have the money to pay the girl to make them thicker.

but hopefully the palm rolling will work.

i wish i had done them completely naturally.. then theres real thick ones, usually.
