hesti's neglecty dready thready

    ok...so im startin my timeline



    im goin neglect of course, so i can't really say that my dreads were "born" on a specific date... and i never really used a brush, just used my fingers and shampoo and conditioner, so i can't have a "lost the brush" date either...lol

    but whatever you wanna call the event...yesterday is when it started....

    April 28, 2009 :)

    and before anyone else yells at me to get a camera, i plan on picking one up here in about an hour, once i get off work...then im on my way home to wash my hair with some dr bronners (any suggestions on which scent? i bought a small bottle of each one :tongue:)...then i'll snap some pics and try and have em up tonight

    I get Bronner's tea tree in a huge bottle and then mix it with a little bronner's rose or lavender :D

    lol...well i went with the peppermint...felt pretty nice :)

    and in case y'all didnt notice the freakin huge pics up there...i got some added :)

    im gonna double post cause i can...plus it's my thread so i do what i want :tongue:

    just wondering...i have a wool beanie, but it fits pretty snuggly...just wondering if it would help, hinder, or do nothin for me?

    i've heard similar greenearthgirl...my concern was that it fits so snug on my head...wouldn't i want it to be a little loose?

    hmm maybe. Although if it's too loose it might come off, depending on how much you move around

    well i hit up SE on myspace...he said to wear it every now and then, to help compress the knots, but not too often cause it will restrict movement (which will of course prevent new knots)...seems so obvious now lol...

    that's a good idea, I might have to get one. I was trying to crochet a wool tam but it came out all funny looking

    i need to get a tam...i can't crochet worth shit though...maybe i'll see if i can get one of my grandma's to make it for me...

    i like when the peppermint bronners gets in my eyes too!

    oh, and hesti, you look like one of the other members that frequents this forum. but, i wont say who cuz last time i mistook a scary metal guy for this certain member.
