Here's somthin for all the stoners to think about :)

haha k, i'm sure u guys have all probably had this discussion before, but it seems no matter how hard u think of it/discuss u wont come to a solution.


so as many ppl know, there is an apperant "end" to the universe, a space which is occupied by NOTHING, which the universe creates itself into/expands into

now tell me, what is "nothing" nothing cant be black - thats somthign

nothing cant be clear - thats somthing

in reality, that space cannot even be called "nothing" because THAT IS SOMTHING!

hurts my head after a while :S

 

Nothing can appear black.... as there is no light to alluminate anything around you.

I consider space to be the closest thing to nothing, as it's a vaccum....which really means there is nothing filling that space at all, no atoms of any kind.

Now if ya really wanna boil your noodle, imagin being out there, with no way of getting back, but you can some how stay alive forever, but have no way of killing yourself.....how the hell would you pass the time?

 

ive often though about this. and it just confuses me, and at the same time makes sense. what will it look like when the world ends? i dont think the universe will end, because there are other galaxies that we know nothing about.

 

Time would probably lose all meaning to you..

ok, humans senses and thoughts are all about things interacting

when you have nothing

you dont have senses and thoughts

there is not black

there is no space

it is nothing

and most importantly, it is physicall IMPOSSIBLE to comprehend or imagine nothing. if you think you can imagine what its life, you cant, because the very fact that your imagining it means its not nothing.

for this reason, the concept of nothing is a very powerful one. it has skewed the world's view on the afterlife, many people taking on the belief that when we die we are at peace, because there is nothing. however nothing is not peaceful.

id rather an eternity of pain than to become nothing. not that my life would mean anything to myself or the universe, but because i am an organism and the fundamental purpose of an organism is to survive.

if u floated forever you would have ot think all the time. so you would eventually know everything! right. how couldnt you... ALL you use is ur brain. magination. thats incredible. and time WOULD lose all meaning. its inevitable. can u think of that? not knowing time? what would that be like. man.

Slighltly off but when I was a kid and they told us how fast the earth spins in science class I walked around for like a year thinking I was just going to fly right off the earth one day. Nothing is Nirvana, but Nirvana is something.

 

its crazy to think about. Cause I want to know what everything will look like when the world ends.
