ok-- how's this 4 an idea-- One might be able to get out of drug testing by saying it's against their religion-seriously- so if there isn't one already, maybe we should just form our own. It would have to be a "Christiany" type. And if it could be made legit enough- than 'no drug testing' would be sacrosanct!! How 'bout "Christian Chemists"or "Church of Christian Consciousness"-- sort of like Christian Science (I mean they don't believe in going to doctors..) So you should be able to respond to 'drug testers' (very solemnly) "I'm sorry, but that's against my religion-" In this country that should still work even when nothing else does- Then you could add "we believe "the body of Christ" is sacred or something.. I'm being serious folks- I think w/the right tweaks, this could work - whattaya think?

People have tried to say that pot is part of their religion, and that doesnt work, even though the Rastafarian church is real and legitimate, the law is a higher power.

yeah, but this wouldn't necessarily be justifying using drugs, - it's just to not have to drug test-

It is a religious issue. Your body, bodily fluids, etc. are your business. It would be pretty obvious though if you happily consented to blood testing or other invasive procedures, but then when the urinalysis came into question you refused on the grounds of "religious freedom".
Either way, it's too bad that people are assumed guilty until proven innocent. But if people are willing to consent regardless, either because the job market coerces them into it, or otherwise, then of course government, "religion", constitutional rights, etc, aren't going to save us from being persecuted.
